- Communicate with you about pending or completed assignments, billing, and follow-up
- Evaluate interpreter and translator applications and onboard contractors into our network
- Process invoices and payments to interpreters and translators

AMS does not sell personal information and does not share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
4. How we share information
We share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Interpreters and translators in our network: we share assignment-relevant information with the linguist assigned to your matter, under confidentiality obligations.
- Service providers: we use carefully selected vendors for form processing (JotForm), hosting (Vercel), analytics (Vercel Analytics), and email delivery. These providers process information on our behalf and only as needed to operate the Site and our services.
- Legal compliance: we may disclose information when required by subpoena, court order, regulatory process, or other applicable law, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
5. Third-party services we use
AMS uses the following third-party services to operate the Site. Each service has its own privacy policy; we encourage you to review them.

- Vercel: hosts the Site and provides delivery and basic analytics. See Vercel's privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Email providers: we use standard email providers to communicate with clients and contractors. Email content is subject to the privacy practices of those providers.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business records (including accounting, tax, and legal records), respond to requests, and comply with applicable law. Retention periods vary by record type. For example, financial records are typically retained for seven years to meet U.S. tax requirements; client correspondence is retained for the duration of the client relationship and a reasonable period afterward. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it through routine retention procedures.
7. Security
AMS uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access or disclosure. The Site is served over HTTPS with HSTS enforced. Interpreters and translators in our network work under written confidentiality obligations.
